Dr. Capri Alford is an experienced, people-focused leader with over 20 years in the nonprofit sector and more than 17 years in leadership. Passionate about empowering others, she leads with positivity, authenticity, and a deep commitment to helping individuals live their BEST lives.

Dr. Alford brings a robust background in social services, including education, training and development, workforce development, counseling, psychology, and healthcare. She is drawn to mission-driven organizations rooted in strong values and has held key leadership roles at respected nonprofits such as I Will Survive, Inc.The Muscular Dystrophy AssociationVictory Programs, and Jewish Vocational Service.

Originally from Massachusetts, Dr. Alford earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Bridgewater State University and her Master of Education in Counseling and Psychology with a concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy and Mental Health Counseling from Cambridge College. She most recently earned her Doctorate in Health Administration from the prestigious Morehouse School of Medicine.

A proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Dr. Alford is deeply committed to community service and uplifting others through acts of service, mentorship, and advocacy. She enjoys traveling, spending meaningful time with her husband, family, and raising her two young daughters to dream big and believe that anything is possible. Grounded by lessons learned and strengthened by both challenges and triumphs, Dr. Alford remains deeply committed to inspiring, empowering, and uplifting the communities she serves.
